May 1 — Fiesta Friday – Tamale Festival Weekend. Downtown Atascadero, 5–8 p.m. Kick off Tamale Festival Weekend with tamale tasting, Sip & Shop Wine Walk, and free Historic City Hall tours; free admission, food and shopping available.
May 2 — 10th Annual Tamale Festival. Downtown Atascadero, 10 a.m.–6 p.m. Family-friendly festival with 100+ vendors, 30+ tamale makers, live entertainment, food, drinks, activities, and games; free admission, food and merchandise available for purchase.
May 9 — Paso Robles Olive and Lavender Festival. Downtown City Park, Paso Robles, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. The annual festival unites farmed olive and lavender products for all to learn, enjoy, and purchase.
May 10 — Mother's Day · Lakefest. Atascadero Lake Park, 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Family-friendly event with kids' games, entertainment, food, community resources, and a cardboard boat competition; free admission.
May 15-17 — Paso Wine Fest. Enjoy the best that Paso Robles Wine Country has to offer across four days of incredible wine events. From winemaker dinners and an event all about food and wine pairings to an educational seminar and brunch-time bubbles, and of course the Grand Tasting featuring 100+ wineries.
May 22-26 — Best of the West Antique Equipment Show. Santa Margarita Ranch, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Get an up-close and hands-on look at antique equipment, including tractors, engines, cars, steam trains, airplanes and much more. Hosted at the historic Santa Margarita Ranch on California's beautiful central coast.
May 23 — 18th Annual Golden State Classics Car Show. 12th Street and Spring Street, Paso Robles, 9 a.m.–2 p.m. The Golden State Classics Car Club presents about 300 cars and trucks, including muscle cars to hot rods and antiques to sports cars, from all over California.
May 25 — Memorial Day Ceremony, Atascadero. Faces of Freedom Memorial, corner of Hwy 41/Morro Rd. & Portola, 11 a.m. Honor fallen service members with a community ceremony, veteran resources, and a BBQ hosted by Kiwanis following the program.
May 25 — Memorial Day Ceremony, Paso Robles. Paso Robles District Cemetery, 45 Nacimiento Lake Dr., 11 a.m.–12 p.m. Annual program with invocation, patriotic music, guest speakers, a closing prayer, 21-gun salute from the Honor Guard, and a playing of taps.
June Events
June 6 — Sherman's Legacy Wine & Dine PourFest. Estrella Warbird Museum, Hangar One, 4251 Dry Creek Rd., Paso Robles, 5:30–9 p.m. Wine, beer, and food festival honoring veterans with auctions benefiting Honor Flight Central Coast's mission to send local veterans to Washington, D.C.
June — 10th Annual Showdown Cornhole Tournament. Sunken Gardens, Atascadero, times TBD. All-ages cornhole tournament welcoming all skill levels; tickets and additional details coming soon.
June — Ice Cream Zoofari. Central Coast Zoo, Atascadero, 5–8 p.m. Enjoy unlimited ice cream, sundaes, music, and up-close animal encounters during this family-friendly summer evening at the zoo.
